DIRECT MARKETING EXECUTIVE VACANCY – 3 MONTH CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER)
Our client is an extremely well established publishing house in the centre of Bristol who has recently awarded the UK’s number 3 agency in their given industry. Currently our client is seeking a direct marketing executive working alongside the marketing manager to increase awareness, market share and overall ROI.
The Direct Marketing Executive is responsible for executing direct marketing campaigns for their specific basket of titles. Working alongside the Direct Marketing Manager, they will maximise magazine subscription sales and contribution across their allocated portfolio of titles, identifying and championing all opportunities for further growth. These will dovetail within the overall department vision as outlined by the Subscriptions Director.
As Direct marketing executive you will also be encouraged to take an active role and contribute to cross-departmental projects such as the Christmas campaign and other seasonal portfolio projects promoting subscriptions.
This three-month contract is to provide hands on support whilst a member of the team is on maternity leave, caretaking an established group of titles with an exciting marketing plan and budget for the year.
*Subscriptions / direct marketing experience: This role will expand and diversify current levels of Subscriptions Marketing experience. The SME will show competency by devising and implementing direct marketing promotional campaigns as well as compiling continuing analysis and creating reports *Numerate: Within the role, the DME will need to show confidence and accuracy when dealing with any mathematical calculations *Literacy: Having a good grammatical skills base, the DME will be able to put together promotional copy for marketing material *Organisational skills: The DME will need to show the ability to prioritise and manage their workload in order to meet deadlines. Multitasking skills to be developed through the management of a number of projects simultaneously *Presentation skills: Having the ability toproduce clear and concise reporting documentation of campaign activity and results will be fundamental in the success of the SME – suggesting recommendations for refinement of campaigns going forward will show there are developing a long term approach to the activity they are implementing *Administrational skills: Demonstrating accurate record keeping and briefing procedures through their daily work *Influencing skills: Demonstrating their adaptability and show willingness to fit into the existing team environment by building relationships with existing team members, other internal departments and external suppliers *Attention to detail: Development of accurate proof reading skills, and presentation of accurate of campaign results will be an on-going development.

Our client is a leading distributor and manufacturer of Electronic Testing Equipment. Currently we have the tasks of finding 2x Regional Field Sales Engineers to win new business and nurture existing accounts.
LOCATIONS – North of Birmingham from Liverpool to Leeds and everything in-between & The whole of the South below the M4 including the South Coast.
You must be educated to HND/HNC level or above in electronics / electrical testing or equivalent.
Electronic instruments manufactured by our client include the following:
dc power supplies, laboratory power supply, bench power supplies, programmable power supply, function generator, arbitrary generator, pulse generators, spectrum analyzer, rf signal generator, digital multimeters, lcr meter, dc electronic load, frequency counters, counter timer, harmonic analysers, (harmonic analyzers), emc test equipment, logic analysers, (logic analyzers), and other test and measurement instruments and so on.
Experience in the above is not essential but highly beneficial. You will be providing testing solutions across the board to SME’s up to Large Corporate clients with a mix of NB and AM.
Experience selling into design, manufacturing, service and education is desirable.
